Craig B. Carpenter

As the Director of the Investment Division at Sage, Craig oversees investment research and strategy, providing investment leadership to the firm and communicating Sage’s economic and investment outlook to clients. Craig devotes his time to the formation, implementation, and explanation of Sage’s investment decisions. He manages a team of analysts dedicated to the research and evaluation of all of Sage’s investment recommendations.

Before assuming his current role, Craig, a CFP® professional, worked with one of the firm’s partners in directly managing client relationships. Together, they provided full-service wealth management expertise to a significant portion of Sage’s client base.

Craig joined Sage in 2005. He had been pursuing a PhD in Princeton before he decided to shift from academics to business. He graduated summa cum laude from Cornell University with his AB after double-majoring in classics and English. He also earned the Master of Divinity degree (summa cum laude) from Westminster Seminary, and he holds the Master of Theology degree from Princeton Seminary.
